Walworth Garden (1988 )

This project for classroom and office spaces – originally called Walworth City Farm – was commissioned in 1988 and begun by Matrix architects. They did the design and detailing, and helped organise an all-female build of the timber frame. However, after delays to the project it was completed by other architects. The building remains as a teaching space to this day, and Walworth Garden continues to thrive as a community-based project.
